MHRA names Lexington preferred reservations provider

The Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association has awarded American Travel Services International Inc. subsidiary, Lexington Services, a hotel reservations provider contract.

While financial terms were not disclosed, under the agreement, Lexington Services will make the Malta's hotels more accessible to US tourists and travel agents. It provides reservations for nearly 3,800 independent hotels, resorts, inns, suites and chains with more than 470,000 rooms in 81 countries.
Donald Pace Bonello, of the MHRA explained, "We chose Lexington Services as our preferred provider because of their state-of-the-art reservations services. Lexington's system will unify the Malta hotels, as well as make them more accessible to tourists and travel agents around the world."
"Lexington is honoured to have been chosen by the MHRA," explained Zolon Wilkins, president of Lexington Services. "The MHRA's members will have instant access via the Internet into our system. And as the premier provider of hotel reservations, Lexington will successfully lead MHRA members into the 21st century."
Lexington's central reservation office Texas, is connected to all major Global Distribution Systems and the world's leading Internet sites. Accessible by travel agents under the access code LM in the GDSs, as well as by home and business computers via the Internet (through Mytravelco.com, TravelWeb(R), Travelocity(R), Expedia.com(R) and Priceline), Lexington's proprietary in-house reservation system was designed, developed and is maintained by Lexington Services. Lexington has development representatives located in Berlin, Dallas, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami and Sydney.
