Maltese IT company involved in multi-million GBP software project

Three Maltese software developers working with Makeezi Ltd. are currently in the UK taking part in a multi-million pound software project awarded to Magic Software Enterprises UK.

The project involves the delivery of an enterprise world wide web-enabled software solution for the logistics and distribution channels of John Menzies. John Menzies is a leading operator in the United Kingdom's news industry, controlling approximately 25 per cent of the UK's wholesale media distribution market through a network of 30 distribution centres, distributing roughly four million newspapers every day, 9.5 million periodicals every week and 21 million magazines each month.

Commenting on this important initiative, Ing. This project will provide our developers with extensive knowledge and work experience in building complex web enabled software solutions using the ‘Magic’ rapid application technology.

"These specialised skills will continue to increase Makeezi’s IT skills base in the fast growing sector of providing organisations with web based solutions. I feel confident stating that this opportunity has strategically opened the door for the increased use of our IT resources abroad in large exciting IT projects developed using the ‘Magic’ technology'.

Makeezi Ltd., (www.makeezi.com) is a subsidiary company of the Vassallo Builders Group and specialises in providing Rapid Application Development, Business Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
