Two connections, one number from Vodafone

In its latest marketing campaign, Vodafone Malta is now offering contract clients a practical solution for their second mobile device. Whether this is a car phone, boat phone, a second mobile phone or any other mobile device, it will have the same number as the mobile phone which the client uses normally.

The Twin Vodafone Connections will use the same mobile number and clients will be able to make and receive calls, use their personal mailbox by dialing 909 and use all Vodafone services including data, fax or WAP calls as well as establish a GPRS connection. In reality Vodafone’s contract clients will be able to take advantage of all the Vodafone services that their current tariff plan offers on their primary phone.

There is a one-time connection fee for the second Twin Vodafone connection of just Lm5, and there will also be a monthly usage fee of Lm2.50. Vodafone contract clients will also benefit from being able to make use of their bundled free minutes of their respective tariff plan from either phone.

"The Twin Vodafone Connections service is a very practical system for those who have two mobile devices. Vodafone’s contract clients who possess a car phone, boat phone, PDA, GSM PCMCIA card or a second mobile phone can now be contacted using just one number. This is practical not just on a daily basis while the Vodafone client is in Malta, but particularly when the client travels abroad. Vodafone Malta offers a full roaming service on the twin connections so clients can drive or sail away and still be able to use their Vodafone," said Mr Joe C. Grioli, Vodafone Malta’s Managing Director.

More information on the Twin Vodafone Connections service is available on the website www.vodafonemalta.com, contact Vodafone customer care on 21 48 28 20 or 247 from their Vodafone. Details of this system will also be available at the IT & T Fair being held at the Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar between 17 and 21 October 2001.
