New commercial department established at Dhalia

In view of the ever increasing demand by the local business community for commercial properties, Dhalia Real Estate has set up a Commercial Department, located at Dhalia’s flagship branch at 168, The Strand, Gzira.

The new department is headed by the branch‚s manager, Ivan Azzopardi, who has 16 years‚ experience in the Real Estate field, and today, is one of the longest serving members of the Dhalia Group.

The new department will be responsible to oversee all commercial sales and leases within Dhalia Real Estate. Apart from the manager, it consists of four other property consultants, one of whom is based in Valletta. The company feels that, having a presence in the Capital is very important, as there is a substantial requirement for commercial properties, both in retail as well as office space. The set up of this department also forms part of a new strategic plan, which will see Dhalia streamline its operations for further growth.

Speaking about the new commercial department, Mr. Azzopardi said, „up to now, a company or an individual had no access to professional advice for investing in, or disposing of, commercial property. This is a very sophisticated market, where the business community expects nothing less than a high level of service with the most competitive negotiations. In setting up this new department and selecting the right team, we did our utmost to ensure that our personnel have the right skills and experience for such a demanding role." He went on to say that they, „already have numerous opportunities for investors, primarily consisting of businesses whose owners want to retire or liquidate their assets."
