Gozo Channel offers special rates and services this weekend

On a special arrangement being made for the GOZO 1234 event being held over a four day weekend between 1 and 4 May, Gozo Channel’s “Immorru Ghawdex” reduced rate scheme will apply for all trips departing Cirkewwa between 13:30 and midnight between Wednesday 30 April and Saturday 3 May. Under this scheme the standard passenger ticket costs €1.40 (Lm0.60)p.p. return, whereas the standard car plus driver is €8.35 (Lm3.58) return.
Moreover, in order to make Gozo more accessible, additional trips will be performed at night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at 02:30 from Mgarr and 03:15 from Cirkewwa. Furthermore, from Wednesday 30 April through to Sunday 4 May the afternoon trips shall remain at 45 minute intervals from both Mgarr and Cirkewwa, that is at 12:00, 12:45 and 13:30. All other trips shall remain according to the published timetable. A shuttle service with all three ferries with a turnover of around 330 vehicles an hour shall also be operated at peak travel times.
