Edward Scicluna appointed director of Coralia San Antonio

Professor Edward Scicluna has been appointed to the board of Munro Philips & Co Ltd, which owns the Coralia San Antonio resort hotel. The Coralia San Antonio is under management by the international travel & leisure chain, Accor, in association with Air Malta. Profs Scicluna is also Chairman of the Malta Council for Social & Economic Development.

Profs Scicluna is an economist, and a graduate of the universities of Oxford, Toronto, and Malta. As a consultant, he has advised international organisations, including UNEP, UNESCO and the EU, the governments of a number of Mediterranean countries, as well as various leading Maltese corporations, financial institutions, and business associations. He has carried out various economic studies for the Malta Federation of Industry, including The Restructuring of the Maltese Economy. Between 1998 and last year, he served on the Auditing Committee of the Council of Europe Development Bank.
