Prominent SPD member in Malta for public lecture

A public lecture by visiting German Social democrat MP Mr Gloser will be held on Tuesday, 2 April at the Foundation for International Studies (Old University, St Paul Street, Valletta) at 6.30 pm.

Mr Gloser is a spokesman of the SPD parliamentary group on European Affairs.

The public lecture is entitled: Europe’s Responsibility in the Mediterranean.

Mr Gloser, who is a member of the German Parliament since 1994, is also Chairman of the Middle East discussion group of the SPD parliamentary group and Chairman of the German-Maghreb parliamentary friendship group and Chairman of the Nuremberg association of the Social Democratic Party of Germany

His visit is co-ordinated by the local representative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Malta.
