The publication of the HSBC Business Profile of Malta, distributed worldwide to all HSBC offices, is expected to help attract foreign investment to Malta. The profile provides all the latest economic data, as well as information about the countrys government, investment and trade regulations. "HSBC aims to offer the most up-to-date information to its customers, wherever they may be, in order to help them make the right business and investment decisions. Malta has many advantages to offer the international business community and through the publication of this profile, more HSBC customers will become aware of those advantages," said outgoing HSBC Malta CEO Tom Robson explained. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Social Policy Lawrence Gonzi, who was presented with a copy by Mr Robson, described the initiative as continuing to raise Malta's profile amongst investors and business in Europe as well as in other continents. Through the positive association with HSBC worldwide, Malta will strengthen its relative competitivity as a Mediterranean hub-region for trade and commerce as well as gaining increased reputation as a safe and secure location for investment opportunity. The new HSBC Business Profile of Malta will be distributed to HSBC offices worldwide as well as to various international trade and diplomatic organisations. The HSBC Business Profile of Malta forms part of an international series of profiles, which HSBC publishes about the various countries in which it operates.
