Maltapost General Manager Postal Services relinquishes position

Maltapost General Manager for Postal Services, Pat Burke, has relinquished his post due to personal and family reasons.

Mr Burke will be returning to New Zealand once a replacement for his position has been selected and Transend New Zealand is identifying and short-listing potential candidates to ensure that a new person is in place as soon as possible.

Speaking about Mr Burke’s departure, Maltapost Chief Executive Officer, Robert Lake, commented, "Mr Burke’s departure from the post of General Manager Postal Services is a loss for Maltapost. In his role, Pat has been instrumental in implementing a number of important operational changes for Maltapost and its customers. However, with the expertise available in Transend and New Zealand Post, I am sure that a top quality replacement will be selected in a very short time."
