Maltacom – Vodafone Malta Limited come to terms

Maltacom p.l.c and Vodafone Malta Limited have signed an agreement in virtue of which several long-outstanding disputes between the two companies were amicably resolved in a mutually acceptable manner.
Some of these issues were also the subject of judicial and administrative proceedings pending before the Malta Communications Authority, the Telecommunications Appeals Board and the Maltese Courts.
In a joint press release, the companies, represented on this agreement by Joseph F.X. Zahra, Chairman, on behalf of Maltacom plc and Joseph C. Grioli, Managing Director, on behalf of Vodafone Malta Limited, expressed their satisfaction that this agreement, whilst putting paid to the past, was heralding the opening of a new beginning in relations between the two companies.
Both companies now look forward to healthy co-operation in an increasingly competitive telecommunications market in Malta in the best interests of the
consumer.
