Farsons eyes expansion, enter prelim agreement

Simonds Farsons Cisk plc announced Friday that it has entered into a Preliminary Agreement with Mr Guido Vella for the acquisition of Guido Vella Cash & Carry Business. The transaction will involve the transfer of Mr Vella’s business as a going concern, but will be managed as a separate entity to the other Group subsidiary companies.
As required by the Competition Act, the Company has notified the Office for Fair Trading of this proposed transaction in terms of the Regulations on Control of Concentrations, 2002.
