Maltese property prominently featured
in UK press, TV
As part of an intensive overseas campaign, leading agents
Frank Salt (Real Estate) Ltd have hosted a number of UK property correspondents
who visited the island during the last few weeks.
A number of feature articles highlighting Malta and Gozo as an ideal
destination for holidays, retirement and investment have already appeared
in a number of UK papers and others are about to follow soon.
These include The Evening Standard, The Independent, The Mail on Sunday,
The Daily Mail, The Express and The Sunday Times. Most of the articles
gave extensive coverage to a selection of properties on the companys
database including the new developments; other articles are also to
be featured in The Financial Times, The Guardian Weekly and the Homes
Overseas. Some of the journalists flights have been arranged in
co-operation with Air Malta.
"We have adopted a new marketing strategy this year focusing more
on awareness rather than just advertising," said Company Managing
Director Joseph Lupi. "We have also participated in about eight
overseas property exhibitions this year which have also generated substantial
interest and sales."
Frank Salt (Real Estate) has recently also been chosen by Granada Television
Productions to assist in the production of three episodes for the popular
television series I Want That House which is shown on UK
television.
"We have been very busy working with the TV crew for weeks, filming
a number of selected properties and locations" said Mr Lupi. The
series should be shown on UK television sometime next week.
In addition, the company also recently participated in a similar production
filmed by Channel 4 UK called A Home In The Sun.
The companys overseas representatives also carry out their own
promotions in their respective countries, which promotion include feature
articles on property in Malta and Gozo. The company presently has 18
representative agreements with associates in UK, Ireland, Germany, The
Netherlands, Switzerland and Russia.
