Kurt Sansone has been appointed editor of The Malta Financial & Business Times.
Kurt Sansone retains his post as Deputy Editor of MaltaToday.
Sansone, 30 studied communications and sociology at the University of Malta. He started his journalistic career with the newspaper Alternattiva and later had a brief stint at Bay Radio.
After graduating in 1999 he was employed at Terranet and was involved in the launching of di-ve.com.
Sansone also formed part of the Xarabank production team for four years until 2002.
Sansone joined the newsroom at MaltaToday as a journalist in 2001 and was later appointed deputy editor.
As editor of The Malta Financial & Business Times he faces the task of retaining the leading position of the business newspaper.
Founded in 1999 The Malta Financial & Business Times is now run by Newsworks Ltd and is published on a Wednesday.
Saviour Balzan will be relinquishing the post of editor to dedicate more time as managing editor at Newsworks Ltd.
Sansone takes over at The Malta Financial & Business Times with a vision to make the newspaper more of a reference point to the business community.
The newspaper will raise issues of interest to the business world and analyse major domestic and foreign events for their implications on the economy, industry and business in general. |
