Former Maltese presidents and foreign minister in Libya

Two former Presidents of Malta, Ugo Mifsud Bonnici and Guido de Marco, together with former Foreign Minister Alex Sciberras Trigona, were invited to Libya in the last week of September in their personal capacities on an intercultural exchange organised by the French foundation Mediterranean Exchange.
The Paris-based foundation groups former politicians and statesmen from Mediterranean countries in a bid to enhance intercultural and political dialogue.
The Maltese dignitaries also held meetings with the Maltese Embassy and Maltese institutions in Tripoli.
