Malta is featured twice in this month’s ‘IoD Europe’ publication, with a keynote article on how IoD Malta has been building international investor and institutional confidence, and a second article which features the recent “Force for Change” conference organised by IoD Malta which was addressed by IoD UK’s Head of Corporate Governance, Patricia Peter.
“The Institute of Directors (IoD) is playing an important role in changing international perceptions about doing business in Malta” says local IoD Chairman James Satariano, in a keynote article in the latest issue of IoD Europe.
This pan-European publication is read by decision-makers across the key business centres in the euro-region: Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium as well as offshore and financial centres such as Cyprus, Malta, Monaco and Luxembourg. In a feature entitled “Malta capitalises on EU membership” Mr. Satariano outlines Malta’s growth and it’s position as the “‘tiger economy’ of the Mediterranean”.
Much needed awareness will be built amongst high-level business people throughout Europe based on reading this article while knowledge about what Malta has to offer the international business community is being enhanced. This builds on IoD Malta’s initiatives since 2000 to position Malta effectively at European Board-level and to build Malta’s reputation as a serious investment choice for the European business community.
The IoD provides an effective voice to represent the interests of its members to government and key opinion-formers at the highest levels of Maltese government.
