MISCO is about to release an update of its “Survey of Collective Agreements”. This report is intended to provide background material to management on the development of industrial relations in Malta as reflected in the various Collective Agreements concluded by public and private firms in different sectors of business.
The survey provides a comparison of 100 Collective Agreements which were negotiated and concluded by companies in various business fields mainly in the Electronics and Engineering sector, Banks and Financial Institutions, Tourism, Food and Beverage, Clothing, Tourism and Public Corporations.
Salaries and wages for various grades in most of the above-mentioned sectors will also be updated to reflect the most recent salary scales. This manual aims to provide business with a comprehensive view of the changes being made in the conclusion of negotiations on collective agreements.
This year’s edition of the “Survey of Collective Agreements” will be launched during a seminar held at MISCO, which will be open to several HR practitioners and senior managers. The seminar will be addressed by Lawrence Zammit a MISCO Director and Emmanuel Micallef a consultant in industrial relations who has updated this year’s edition of the report.
This seminar is also intended to provide senior management with an overview of the recent changes being made in the conclusion of negotiations on collective agreements.
This seminar will take place on Wednesday, 1 March at 16:30 at the MISCO offices which are situated on the 3rd Floor of Regency House, Republic Street, Valletta. Please note that there is no charge for this event but space is limited.
