Air Malta has recently embarked on a major outdoor advertising campaign in the UK which included 100 lighted bus shelters posters promoting the airline’s London Gatwick - Catania service. The posters were targeted at public transport users and motorists in the South and East London.
The campaign, which started mid January and will continue to run until mid March 2006, has already registered record January bookings sales through the airline’s London office and through the website.
During the sale period, Air Malta has promoted a substantial number of seats to Malta and Sicily at low fares. “The combination of highly competitive fares, quality service from main airports, and the increased promotion to UK consumers has strengthened the image of Air Malta in the UK market as a reliable and value for money airline”, said Dale Keller, General Manager UK and Ireland.
Air Malta’s London Gatwick-Catania operation was launched in May 2004 and since then has proved very popular with both the Sicilian and British communities. |
