The Victoria Hotel has announced the appointment of Kenneth Camilleri as Finance Manager, Marcelle Cuschieri as Administrative & Finance Executive and Andy Tanti as Business Development Coordinator.
Kenneth Camilleri has been appointed Finance Manager of the Victoria Hotel and the Palazzo Capua complex. Camilleri is a certified public accountant and a member of the Institute of Accountants. He has worked in the hospitality industry for these past nine years.
After spending four years working in the various Food & Beverage outlets at the Suncrest Hotel, in 1999 he joined the Victoria Hotel team and worked in both the Food and Beverage and the administrative departments. The latter included accounting, payroll and F & B reporting. Kenneth graduated in Accountancy at the University of Malta in 2002 and completed a Diploma course in Hotel Operations & Management with Cambridge College in 2003.
Another appointment is that of Marcelle Cuschieri, who has been appointed Administrative & Finance Executive, a post which gives her the full responsibility of the Hotel’s and Palazzo Capua’s entire Administration & Finance Department. Marcelle is an Honours graduate in Accountancy. She joined the AX Group in 2000 as Assistant Financial Controller at the Suncrest Hotel.
Andy Tanti has been promoted to Business Development Coordinator in charge of Corporate and Internet Business of The Victoria Hotel and Palazzo Capua. Previously Front Office Manager of The Victoria Hotel, Andy has given a valuable contribution to the achievement of the hotel’s high standards and encouraging financial performance. Andy Tanti joined AX Holding Group in 1992 with the Suncrest Hotel. In March 1997 he was transferred to the Victoria’s Front Office.
Here he held various responsibilities, including those of reception and front office, and reservations.
The Victoria’s General Manager, Ms Claire Xuereb, described these appointments as a vital step in the consolidation of the Hotel’s organisational structure in order to gear up for the new challenges which involve the development of the new adjoining 5-Star hotel. |
