MCA selects AG Consulting for mail integrity audit

AG Consulting have been selected by the Malta Communications Authority as the preferred organisation to conduct the audit of the mail integrity policies, practices and procedures adopted by Maltapost plc and to assess compliance with the established minimum standards for protecting the integrity of mail.
The study will be conducted at a cost of Lm5,439 inclusive of VAT.
The other tenderers were Schield Security Consultants (Lm17,523), Alliott Malta (Lm13,480), KPMG (Lm12,500), PricewaterhouseCoopers (Lm3,500 excluding VAT), Ernst & Young Limited (Lm11,500) amd NethPost Consultancy (EUR197,151 excluding VAT).
Protecting the integrity of mail is considered essential in ensuring consumer confidence in the postal sector, which provides vital infrastructural support for the various economic and social activities that take place.
