Shireburn Software is pleased to announce the launch of the Shireburn Euro Toolkit ™, a software solution that will automate the conversion of Shireburn’s main software products to the Euro on 1 January 2008.
The Euro Toolkit is designed to ensure as rapid, smooth and accurate a change-over to the Euro for users of Shireburn’s financial, inventory, Point-of-sale, payroll and freight solutions. “Rather than having to manually export and re-import opening balances, prices etc., Shireburn’s clients will be able to run a process which will automatically convert their data and maintain the last two year’s historic data for statistical and comparative purposes” said John de Giorgio, Managing Director of Shireburn Software. “This allows our users to ensure that their change-over is smooth, results in the least impact on their operation, conforms to legal requirements as well as carrying forward their historical records.”
It is anticipated that companies undertaking manual conversions of their debtor and credit balances, prices etc will be involved in significant work at the beginning of the year which may impact their operation and shift their focus from servicing their customers. Shireburn’s Toolkit will allow organisations to continue their operations as smoothly as possible and to focus on customer sales. Shireburn has a reputation for developing solutions to assist its clients with these types of requirements having provided excellent support for the various VAT and CET implementation as well as Eco-Tax.
Shireburn Software is also organising a Euro Information Event for its customers to introduce and demonstrate the Shireburn Euro Toolkits and to ensure that its clients are as well prepared as possible for the changes brought about by the Euro’s introduction. The event is being held at the Westin Dragonara on 4th July at 8:30 and is open to Shireburn clients. The keynote speaker at the event is Joseph FX Zahra, Chairman of the NECC, and other speakers include John de Giorgio and Franco Galea from Shireburn and Alex Wells, Manager Technical Preparations at NECC.
