GO’s participation as Gold Sponsor of the Cisco Expo 2008 event, was received with enthusiasm by the IT community and various telecommunications companies that took part in the event.
The first Cisco Expo to be held in Malta took place at the Westin Dragonara Resort, where GO representative Liam Pace delivered a presentation to a packed audience which included some of the top IT representatives in Malta. The topic of the presentation, delivering cost-effective networking solutions to small and medium sized companies, struck a chord with those present as it focused on issues that are of great importance to every company operation in the 21st century.
“We were extremely satisfied with the turn-out and the feedback received afterwards. The level of interaction with the 250-odd participants was also satisfactory and the live demos that were given by GO professionals on our stand after the presentation generated a good amount of interest,” Kenneth Spiteri, head of GO Business, said.
The Cisco Expo took place on the 3rd of June 2008 and welcoming executives from the Maltese market, proving that not only it is one of the largest and most successful IT and Telecommunications events, but also a meeting point for the market’s executives.
These professionals visited the Cisco Expo to be informed of Cisco’s new technologies, to attend presentations of distinguished keynote speakers and also to mingle high officials within the market. |
