First RS2 BankWORKS Web contract signed in Middle East

Following the successful implementation of the BankWORKS Web release in various countries in Europe, RS2 Software p.l.c. has recently signed the first BankWORKS Web contract with one of its existing clients in the Middle East. This contract underlines RS2’s commitment to continuously upgrade its systems with new cutting edge technology, and clients’ confidence in RS2’s new technology developments.
The BankWORKS Web, which has been developed and tested by RS2 Software, is a great enhancement to the previous BankWORKS, as the system is now completely web based giving users greater flexibility. In fact the new BankWORKS has moved from client server architecture to multi-tier web based architecture, giving users accessibility to operate the system from multiple sites. Other advantages over the previous system include platform independence, easy installation and maintenance, enhanced user experience and improved reporting facilities.
Speaking about BankWORKS Web, RS2’s Chief Technical Officer, Godwin Schembri said that “the development of this module is in line with the company’s strategy to continue to develop new products and remain at the forefront of our industry. The success of BankWORKS Web is due to the fact that, using the latest technology we have managed to enhance this module without losing any of the functionality developed over the past 20 years.”
Mr Schembri added that, “given the success of this new product we are now looking forward to install further modules with new and existing clients.”
