Herasails Limited provide set for Retequattro's Melaverde Melaverde, the popular Sunday lunchtime programme on Italian television station Rete Quattro, was recently filmed on board the M/S Hera II. The programme presented Gabriella Carlucci will be aired at 12.30pm on Sunday 31st December 2000. Roger Strickland Jr, Sales & Marketing Manager at Herasails Limited, said: "It has been a great honour for Herasails Ltd to be chosen to host this popular programme viewed by millions, on board the M/S Hera II. The programme should also be of great benefit in promoting Malta as an ideal winter destination among the Italian public, from which not only Herasails but the whole of Malta will benefit." Herasails Limited, co-owned by United Group, CIB - Conference & Incentive Business Ltd and Salvo Grima Group are the owners of two Turkish built Gullets, the Hera and the Hera II. Both these vessels are used for corporate charters, special events and also for the foreign and local day cruise market. Both the Hera and the Hera II have become synonymous with the Conference and Incentive travel market, providing transfers to hotels via sea to exclusive events including cocktail parties and full day cruises with onboard entertainment and water sports facilities. During her stay in Malta, which was organised by the Malta Tourism Authority, Gabriella Carlucci and her four year-old son Matteo spent two days on board the MIS Hera II. During this time several features on the fishing and agriculture industries in Malta were filmed. These will be aired during this Sunday's broadcast. "Turkish Gullets make ideal charter boats as they are designed to accommodate relaxed and luxurious recreational activities as well as large scale events like the filming of Melaverde," continued Mr Strickland Jr. "We already have a number of bookings for next year and those who choose to organise a corporate event will also be able to benefit from some new entertaining ideas which Herasails Limited have formulated." | ||||||||
