VAT lottery reaches stability point

The Public Lotto Department receives around 1,500kg of fiscal receipts every month to participate in the VAT receipts lottery and the amount has stabilised indicating that it is probably the same people who continue to send in their receipts month after month

Globe/British American merger still subject to due diligence

Galdes denies clash with Dalli
Mr Galdes: "There are no personal clashes at all. My resignation is not linked to any of this, it is of a personal nature. I enjoy being involved in various activities and that is why I am involved in the Commission. At this point however I have decided to present my resignation from the post of chairman. According to an AFX Europe report in the Financail Times, the Grupo Dragados SA yesterday announced that the Alterra consortium is currently in the process of finalising the acquisition of a 40 per cent stake in Malta International Airport for the price of EUR150 million (Lm60.5 million)
