SmartCity Malta submits four building applications to MEPA

SmartCity Malta has submitted the planning applications for Office Buildings SCM02 and SCM03 and for Retail Spaces SCM04 and SCM05 to MEPA. These buildings kick off the next stage of development on site. Adjacent to SCM01, the offices and retail spaces are located around the main focal point of SmartCity Malta, the lagoon area.
Prior to this, SmartCity Malta had submitted the planning application for the Power Distribution Center. Set to be built as part of Phase One also, the center will supply sufficient electrical power needed for the SmartCity Malta community.
SCM01 is progressing as planned and will be welcoming its business partners in the third quarter of 2010. SmartCity Malta will create a balanced life and work environment for knowledge workers.
Design works involved in the completion of Phase One are ongoing. The entire Phase One will consist of office space, residential units, retail outlets set around the scenic lagoon surrounded with lush landscaping and terraces overlooking the sea.
