Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology
The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology is calling for expressions of interest for the consultancy for:

The MCAST Library and Learning Resource Centre is the main facility that students and staff will use as a source of information to support all courses of studies offered by the College. Information will also be available in multimedia and electronic format. The Main Library will be at MCAST Main Campus, but similar facilities linked to it will be available at each of the off-site Institutes and Centres in Malta and Gozo.
Information Technology will play a very important role in the Library and Learning Resource Centre (LLRC). The College is looking for a person or organisation to assist the LLRC at the:
Pre-purchasing stage:
1. To determine requirements for systems, goods (hardware and software) and services
2. To draw up specifications for the design of systems and purchase of goods and services
3. To advise in the final selection of goods and services offered for sale by tender or quotation.
Post-purchasing stage:
1. To work alongside suppliers in the installation and testing of the above
2. To write procedure manuals
3. To train library staff
4. To trouble-shoot as necessary during the start-up phase.
