MEA condemns industrial actions taken by the GWUIn a press statement issued yesterday, the Malta Employers’ Association insisted that employers should never end up being the victims of disputes between unions on recognition issues. This statement was made as a reaction to the decision taken by the General Workers Union to resort to industrial actions following the outcome of the verification exercise among the port workers. The Association declared that such actions should be declared illegal and it expressed its full solidarity with the Malta Freeport which is facing the repercussions of these actions.
