As from the December 1, two new appointees will be taking up employment at management level with Malta International Airport plc.
George Mallia will be the new Manager for non-aviation services after a ten-year work experience with The Nuance Group AG Airport Services first as purchasing clerk, subsequently as finance officer and more recently as financial controller. At MIA George Mallia will be responsible for the further development and management of the concession business as well as to identify and evaluate new business opportunities in view to MIA’s recent expansion in this field.
Ing. Matthew E. Joslin has been appointed General Manager of Sky Parks Development Ltd, a subsidiary of the Malta International Airport, to oversee the completion of capital expansion projects commencing with the recently launched MIA business centre. Matthew Joslin will furthermore manage the facilities post completion.
Matthew Joslin comes to this post with an extensive career in Industrial Engineering and Business Management. He is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer who brings with him a wealth of experience having completed intensive training in Germany and had engagements in South America, North Africa and India whilst occupying senior management positions within prestigious blue chip companies including Merit (Malta) Ltd and Methode Electronics (Malta) Ltd.
