BOV Prize in Medicine awarded to Dr Luise Reichmuth

Bank of Valletta awarded the BOV Prize in Medicine to Dr Luise Reichmuth, who obtained the highest marks in the final qualifying exams in medicine at the University of Malta.
Dr Reichmuth received the prize from Karl Spiteri, Manager Corporate Branding and Quality at Bank of Valletta in the presence of Prof Joseph Cacciottolo, Head of the Department of Medicine at the University of Malta Medical School.
The BOV Prize in Medicine was instituted in 2006 under the Education Pillar of the Bank’s Community Programme and seeks to award those students that achieve the highest examination results in the field.
“Obtaining the highest grades in the final qualifying exams in medicine at university level is a great achievement. Bank of Valletta would like to recognize the effort and commitment shown by Dr. Reichmuth by awarding this prize, hoping that this would also serve as an incentive to other students to excel in their respective fields of study”, explained Mr. Spiteri.
Prof. Cacciottolo confirmed that Dr Reichmuth has been consistent throughout her academic career as a medical student and finally cemented this hard work with her exemplary performance, and distinguished herself by earning the highest results in the final examination.
