The store features the complete range of Marsovin wines and Internet users from all over the world are now able to purchase Maltese wine using their credit card. Darren Cassar, e-shore Brand Executive explained, " Our secure connection and close partnership with the Bank of Valletta gives shoppers the confidence that it is safe to buy online with e-shore. After the successful launch of the Malta National Lottery shop, we are now proud to be associated with a leading winery in Malta. With over 50,000 people using the Internet in Malta, the market has now become one which cannot be ignored." E-shore has invested in state-of-the-art e-commerce systems similar to the ones used by large corporations such as Barclays, AT&T, Disney Shop and Telecom Italia. "In this area one cannot compromise on security or technical standards and it is for this reason that we have opted to use internationally proven systems, rather then develop our own. In this way we are in a position to keep abreast with latest international developments in an area which is changing rapidly," commented Ruben Azzopardi, Technical Operations Manager. E-shore also announced that more local merchants will be going online with them over the next weeks. E-shore is operated by Terranet Ltd, a subsidiary of Maltacom plc. | ||||||||
