NSO reveals 17.6 % drop in tourist arrivals in MayExpenditure down by 12.8 per cent Statistics released yesterday by the NSO reveal a drop of 17.6 percent in tourist arrivals to Malta during May, when compared to the corresponding month in 2008, while total tourist expenditure was estimated at €267.1 million, it represented a drop of 12.8 per cent when compared to 2008. Decreases were recorded throughout all expenditure categories.
