Medavia to have €10.5m new hangar

Medavia is set to invest €10.5 million on a new hangar and a new environmentally-friendly office block.
Abdurazagh Zmirli, Medavia managing director announced the investment to Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi who yesterday toured the aviation maintenance company complex in Safi.
Zmirli explained that the hangar is being set up in the new €17m aviation park, was announced last week.
The project, set to be completed by June, would see a 5,000 sq metre state of the art hangar and a 2,000 sq metre office block. The government would help the company in the construction of the apron and infrastructural services.
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said the creation of the aviation park was “a dream that existed for a long time and was finally becoming reality.”
