Melita employees donate €1,800 to the Ursuline Crèche

Melita employees have raised €1,800 during their annual Christmas party. The money raised has been donated to the Ursuline Crèche.
The Ursuline Sisters care for a number of children of different backgrounds and contribute in no small measure to improve the quality of life of these children.
“On the initiative of the Melita Employees Social Committee, all Melita employees have come together to support this worthy cause. We are extremely pleased to present this significant amount to a charitable institution which is renowned for its vital and long-standing role in society. Children are so close to our hearts and this donation to the Ursuline Sisters is a sign of our support to this worthy cause,” Melita Mobile Marketing Manager Alison Bezzina said.
“Without the care and support of the Ursuline Sisters, many children in Malta could never hope for a better future. Besides supporting the Sisters with this financial donation, we also wanted to show our appreciation for their invaluable work with children and to help in raising more awareness about the constant support that these children and the Ursuline Sisters require,” added Ms Bezzina.
“This initiative is just a small token of our commitment towards the society that Melita has been servicing for almost 20 years through home entertainment and communication services,” concluded Ms Bezzina.
