FIM Business Solutions obtains ISO certification

FIM Business Solutions Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of the FIMBank Group, has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification for the company’s factoring back office operations. FIM Business Solutions provides comprehensive technology and business process outsourcing solutions for the financial services industry.
Factoring features prominently in FIMBank’s strategic development. During the past months, the Bank has launched factoring joint-ventures with other major financial institutions in emerging markets as diverse as India and Russia, with another venture in Romania in the pipeline.
FIMBank President Margrith Lütschg Emmenegger stated that: “Whenever we set up a factoring JV with a local partner, FIMBank enters as the technical partner providing its expertise in risk management, marketing, as well as offering to support the required IT platform and back-office services if required. The achievement of ISO certification for our factoring back-office operations is an important endorsement of the quality of these services as well as recognition of the professionalism of our people. We also regard this award as a significant development not only for FIM Business Solutions but for the FIMBank Group as a whole.”
